# ORAIN (OrainBio)

> ORAIN (legal name OrainBio, Inc.; website orainbio.com) is a computational biology company. Its platform uses interpretable AI on tissue imaging, spatial omics and multi-omics data to discover predictive biomarkers from limited samples, enabling better patient stratification and stronger trial design in translational research and drug development.

ORAIN focuses on quantitative spatial biomarker analysis and image interpretation. Its methods are meant to be unbiased, interpretable and measurable, so researchers and clinicians can see how every result was reached, whatever the imaging modality, therapeutic area or disease model.

The ORAIN platform keeps slides, spatial omics data, pipelines and results in one place, with an AI analyst. Example analyses on the platform:

- Score fibrosis across a 10x Visium lung adenocarcinoma sample, map it onto the H&E slide, and review the literature on its link to STK11 and KRAS mutations.
- Train an interpretable model that predicts KRAS mutation status from routine H&E slides (94 TCGA lung adenocarcinoma cases), then see the tissue patterns that drive each prediction.
